If the past year told us anything, it told us to be alert and consistently aware. We watched as drag queens entered churches, a group of government leaders met and fulfilled prophecy, inflation rose continuously, the war in Ukraine burst into fruition, Senate leaders overturned Roe v. Wade, and many more newsworthy topics happen.
Although many of these issues occur, it’s easy for them to slip our notice if we’re not watching. People work undercover and out of sight to destroy the free America we love and cherish. In March 2020, our world changed. During 2021 and 2022, the cycle continued.
2023 stands not only as a year to grow in our faith walk but also in our alertness. Certain groups of people work currently to destroy beloved free America and polarize our society. We must be vigilant.
Sadly, China already brought down its mighty fist and openly controls its people. The smell of oppression reaches us here in America. Our government, like China’s, uses tactics like fear and healthcare to control us. Truly, friends, this is not about your welfare. This is not about the right healthcare methods. This is not about caring for your safety. This is about using us and forming us into followers. The Voice of Truth team cares about you and we care about America.
The Bible says in Acts 20:29-32, “I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away from the disciples after them. Therefore be on the alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears. And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”
Whether you are a Christian or not, we can all see that our world changed these past three years. People glorify evil worship and the grooming of children openly, people contain aggressive emotions and battle with one another, and no longer does one have the right to obtain a differing opinion from another human being.
We must understand that our world changed. We must stand strong and oppress this controlling hatred. We must stand for a society of freedom–a nation of prosperity and autonomy. We need to scrutinize what exactly occurs in the media and our government every single day. People died for the America we love, and we must not let their deaths be useless.
Go forward with confidence, strength, and intelligence in this new year. Be alert in 2023.
