The goal in writing the STORY OF JESUS is to provide a resource that makes reading Scripture more enjoyable and understandable. The Story of Jesus resource is not designed to replace the Bible, it is designed to be an aid in reading and understanding the Bible. In the STORY OF JESUS book, the material in the Gospels is merged and arranged in approximate chronological order to form an easy to follow account of the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Pastoral notes and cross-references (see the right column of each page) provide background information on uncommon terms and highlight sections of Scripture of particular importance.
